Properties: White needlelike crystal. Melting point 124-125; Relative density 1.28-1.32; Soluble in benzene and carbon tetrachloride, slightly soluble in acetone and gasoline, indissoluble in ethanol and ether, insoluble in water; Decomposed in mineral acid or mineral alkali; Stable in storage under normal room temperature; Non-toxic with fish foavor; Skin or mucous membrane will feel pungent after contacting this product.

Application: This product can be used as the vulcanizing agent and rubber activator of natural rubber and synthetic rubber. The input of rubber mass using this product features no bloom out, no contamination, nondiscolouring and easy dispersion. When used in the effective/semi-effective vulcanizing system, crosslinked rubber with excellent heat/ ageing resistance can be produced. It can release active sulfur under the vulcanization temperature, its effective sulfur content is 27%, and the operation is safe. When it is used seperately, the vulcanization rate is low, but the rate will be increased when this product is used together with thiazole and thiram. The product is especially suitable for butyl rubber and is mainly used to produce tyres, butyl innertube, adhesive tape and other heat-resistant rubber products, it is also used as the stabilizer of bitumen on the expressway.

Storage: Keep container tightly closed in a cool, well-ventilated place. The recommendedmax, storage life is 6 months when stored under normal conditions.
